About David Gustafson
I have sixteen years of experience in the general area of design and development. During that time I have worked as graphic designer, web designer, Flash animator, webmaster, illustrator, IT support, game designer, and more (often several at the same time). I am excited that I can now add mobile game developer to that list.
When I first thought about taking the plunge into game development, I was intimidated, knowing that some game apps have entire development teams behind them, while I am just an "army of one" (plus the support and help of my wife). So, I have decided to focus on where my strengths lie and let the gaming community decide the merits of my efforts. I can’t bring to mobile games the level of raw programming power that some groups can, so instead I am focusing more on my favorite aspect of games: theme. To me, a game is strong if it has a sense of setting and story, even if it’s simple or subtle. So, my games (I am only just beginning) will have a strong thematic component, which I believe will make them enjoyable and unique.
